Flyadeal to connect Saudi Arabia and Pakistan with fares from SR199
Twice-weekly flights between Karachi, Riyadh, and Jeddah begin next month
Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier, Flyadeal, is set to launch direct flights to Pakistan, offering travellers affordable and convenient options.
Starting February 2, 2025, the airline will operate twice-weekly flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Karachi, marking its first regular scheduled services to Pakistan and South Asia.
Flyadeal’s inaugural flight from Riyadh to Karachi on February 1 will receive a ceremonial water salute from airport authorities, while the first flight from Jeddah will take off on February 2.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan has already granted approval for these operations, which are expected to enhance travel options between the two nations.
Affordable launch offers
Flyadeal is celebrating its new route with an exclusive promotional fare starting from SAR 199. The sale runs from December 23, 2024, 5:00PM to December 25, 2024, 5:00PM, for travel between February 1 and March 26, 2025.
Limited seats are available, making it a perfect time for budget-conscious travellers to book their flights.
Expanding Flyadeal’s network
Flyadeal’s CEO, Steven Greenway, praised Pakistani authorities and Flyadeal’s planning team for their collaboration. “Building on the strong cultural and historical links between the Kingdom and Pakistan, it was only a matter of time before Flyadeal opened this new air corridor,” Greenway said.
Flyadeal has previously operated Hajj charter flights to Pakistan, but this marks the first time it will offer regular routes. The airline hinted at plans to introduce more Pakistani cities into its network as part of its broader international growth strategy.
Saudi-Pakistani ties
With its fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft, Flyadeal aims to cater to the growing demand for travel between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, driven by cultural, familial, and religious connections. This expansion aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, a strategy designed to attract over 150 million domestic and international tourists annually by the end of the decade.
Flyadeal operates nearly 30 destinations across Saudi Arabia, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The airline plans to increase its international routes to 35% of its total seat capacity by the end of 2025, up from 18% today.
Travellers can now book tickets for Flyadeal’s new Pakistan routes through the airline’s official channels.
